Mother's Day Tea Party

For most of us, our mothers hold a special place in our hearts for the love and sacrifices they have contributed in our lives over the years. Ideally, every day should be Mothers Day because mothers attend daily to our needs. We celebrate mothers and grandmothers on the Friday before Mother's Day.

	Since we have only one day during the year to officially honor our moms and grandmas, we make a very special celebration for them here at Our Lady Queen of Peace Montessori Bilingual School. A spring concert is presented, and afterwards each child serves his/her mom and grandma(s) with treats and tea.

	"Little bird, little bird, don't go away! Please carry a message for me today: My love to my mother, wherever she be; I know she is always thinking of me."
