Physical Development
Practical Life Exercises designed to teach life skills and to develop gross and fine motor skills.
Psychomotor education and Brain Gym are also integrated in our program.


Intellectual Development
Challenging learning materials prepared for the child's success at each level of activities.
Development of the child is driven by his own learning pace and capacities.

Primary curriculum is as follows: Practical Life Exercises assist children in learning how to take care of themselves, each other and their environment. Sensorial Activities provide specific opportunities for exploration which refine the senses. Language Exercises nourish the child, enriching his/her vocabulary, enhancing self-expression and developing reading and writing skills. Mathematical Materials offer an exciting, concrete experience of number concepts in operations. The Program also includes Biology, Science, Geography, History, Art and Music. French is spoken and taught everyday at the first and last circle and also during class time. Individual lessons are given to the students who are ready. Also included in our regular Montessori program: Psychomotor Education, Story Time, Cultures Around the World and Brian Gym.

At Our Lady Queen of Peace School, the child develops good working habits which leads him/her to become productive in academics and results in a feeling of self accomplishment and success.
Prayer before each session and before meals is part of our everyday practice.

Objectives of a Montessori Classroom:

b. Encouraging each child to develop self-reliance from the moment he/she comes in the classroom.
c. Development of initiative through the gradual increase in ability to choose his/her own activity.

f. Building up of concentration through repetition of those activities which meet an inner need of the child.

SNACKS & LUNCH
We provide the morning and afternoon snacks.
Hot lunches for all day program.

SCHOOL'S UNIFORM
Navy Blue or White Polo shirts with School logo to be purchased directly from the school. Navy Blue skirts/pants, skorts, shorts or tunics to be purchased at parent's own discretion.
